This thread was fucking legendary. The OP’s post history is about as weird as expected and of course he (she?) has pet tarantulas. This is the best thread I’ve read after that guy who abused anabolic steroids went into mania and tried to create the perfect sex bot with commercials and everything.
I especially appreciate the irony of the “you’ve proven you’re sexist” comment (in response to…nothing at all about any gender??) immediately after which OP makes like 800 comments along the lines of “MEN sexualize everything”

I love that downthread he starts going off on how no one is afraid of fake spiders and then went on a tangent about how he’s shown lots of people his pet tarantulas (because, of course, this is the sort of person who keeps pet tarantulas) and uses that as evidence that people aren’t really afraid of spiders.
When informed that his sample-size wasn’t exactly representative, he demanded proof that anyone was afraid of spiders and insisted on *no anecdotal evidence*.
The irony is delicious.

It’s hard to figure out since most of OOP’s responses are just accusing people of being sexist or disgusting, but it seems like they’re using an inflatable clown doll to claim the shotgun seat so that passengers don’t sit there.
I haven’t ridden Uber since pre-Covid so I suppose the rules have changed? I’ve definitely ridden up front when riding with multiple people in the past. But more importantly, it’s weird as fuck. Lock that door, hang a sign, put a heavy box there or something if it’s that important to block the seat from would-be passengers.

My “I don’t have a sex doll in my Uber” sign has people asking a lot of questions already answered by the sign.
Nothing says “don’t worry, THIS Uber driver isn’t going to do anything weird” like an inflatable murderclown in the passenger seat and a bizarrely hostile defensive attitude towards any of the questions about it that would naturally arise.
This could ALMOST be salvaged if the driver were easygoing and funny about it, but this whackjob seems like the “how DARE you ask that” type that would lead anyone to assume he’s in a committed relationship with the thing.
